I hate college!!
Nothing is ever going to go right. I hate everything about this except that Aaron isn't 154 miles away this time. That right there is pretty nice... But everything else sucks ass.

Mmn... faith?
"I love who I am.
And, that's just that.
You can hear someone talking about how people should just get along.
Their "faith" is just a little part of them.
Look past it.
But, I have found that I can't.
I just can't.
Because to me, it's a huge part of me.
Wait, correction, it IS me.
My faith, my God.
It is soo big in my life that you CAN'T get past it.
So, how do I get past yours when you worship something different?
Or, if you don't believe at all?
Now, I'm not saying that I am rude, mean, or discriminating against anyone.
But, how can I put that in the past?
How can I forget that you believe something as different as that of me?
It's hard.
I know that I can never be best friends with someone like that.
Nor could I ever date someone like that.
And, what sucks, is that where I live, there's not that many faithful ones.
Ones that are die-hard in what their faith is.

Ugh, another topic similar to this, is Catholics that aren't actually Catholics.
I'm talking about those that call themselves one of us.
But, they don't believe.
They don't agree with everything we teach.
You're not Catholic if you disagree.
This is not a pick and choose kind of thing.
Yeah, you can choose to be Catholic or not.
But, you're not half-and-half.
You're just a wanna-be.
And, I'm not here to try and be putting people down.
You just annoy me, that's all... XD
I try my hardest in my daily life to change people's views on us.
To show them that there are some stupid people out there who have labeled themselves Catholic.
But, that's not ALL of us.
Sheesh.
A lot of us ROCK.
Just give us a chance.
It's not our fault for the mistakes of others.
And, thanks for influencing the bad in people's views.
You're giving bad impressions on what we stand for.
I guess I shall pray for you.
So, if whoever reads this is one of those who have fallen away
or, you're undecided on what you believe,
I will pray for you.
No, I'm not some bible-pusher.
I don't go around splashing holy water on everyone I see.
I do love though.
And, I believe in the power of prayer.
To the people of unknown, my prayers are sent towards you."

New Year
At church today, it was said that every year is a blessing. After this was said, my aunt leaned over and said that this last year was definitely not a blessing. I then gave her a strange look. She said that way too much hurt had been caused this year for it to counted as anything close to a blessing.
It got me thinking. Yes, I know multiple people that have died this year. One in particular, my grandmother. I knew 2 people that killed themselves. I knew a little girl that died of Leukemia. My best friend's grandfather died. I knew of some people that almost died of attempted suicide or of serious illness. So, how could a year like this be taken as a blessing?
Well, I have grown to learn from everything that has hurt me. The death of Grandma. It brought me closer to God. Way closer than I used to be. I actually ended up being very happy for her.
I got to see some family members that I seldom get to see. I spent 1 week in Chicago. That was a learning experience. After that, I went to stay 3 weeks with my sister Crystal on the Western coast of the USA. It let me get closer to her and my cousin Teresa. It was an awesome time. I made new friends and learned things about others at choir camp during the summer. Over the school year, my friends left different impressions on me. Some good. A lot bad. But, that's okay. I know more now on how to mend those relationships or to back off more because they're not as good. Even this Christmas, I got to see Crystal, Teresa, my other sisters, and my mother. My sisters and mother stayed longer than they normally do. It was great to see them that long. I miss them. And, I want to get to know them better. We celebrated Christmas like we normally tried to do before when everyone would come to "Grandma's House." It was hard at times without her, but, it was the best that it could have been with every circumstance in place.
BUT, most of all about this year that made the blessing complete and in place is the gift of life. It was given to us and we should treasure it. No matter what problems there are, life is precious and a miracle. Just with that, a year is graced with a huge blessing. I am amazed at how many people don't take it as serious as it should be taken. Oh, well. You can't change other people. The only thing that you can change is yourself. I will definitely be trying to make it better this next year.
So, HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope everything that you wanted to accomplish was accomplished. And, that everything that you want to accomplish with the year to come, you strive to reach your goal. That is all... haha

2. 12/17/8 - I am in High School. (yet again, not anymore. Yay college)
3. 12/18/08 - I sing. (and I suck at it)
4. 12/19/08 - I play the piano. (correction - I attempt to)
5. 12/20/08 - I know I'm pretty smart. (who am I kidding?)
6. 12/21/08 - But, I don't think I know everything.

8. 12/23/08 - I hate it when people blame God for their problems. (eh, still do)
9. 12/24/08 - I lived with my great-grandmother(grandma) for 9 years.

12. 12/27/08 - Converse seem to be like the BEST shoes ever.
13. 12/28/08 - I just got some X-Hi for Christmas (they go all the way up to my knee)
14. 12/29/08 - It's sad to see people leave -- everyone left yesterday for the end of the holiday
15. 12/30/08 - I have 3/4/5 sisters... haha
16. 12/31/08 - That is my 3 halfs, my 1 aunt/sister, and you could even count my mother(she makes 5)

Here are my December reads. I decided not to make the 100 mark. I am quite proud of myself anyways for making it as far as I did. The books that I have to read to finish the challenge were bought to be read for school. I can get credit for reading books that are in the system at school. So, I only bought books that I could use for school. Well, to finish the challenge, I would have to read the books at home. I am off for 2 weeks. So, I didn't want to read my school books at home. Other Bookish Sites
I have a shelfari, http://www.shelfari.com/charissanh, and a librarything. This is my profile, http://www.librarything.com/profile/Charissanh, and this is my actual library, http://www.librarything.com/catalog/Charissanh.
They both show my library of books - the books I own and have read. The shelfari has an actual "shelf" but, it had a defect with the series from Lynne Ewing. So, the book count of the ones that I have read is not totally accurate. That is why I made a LibraryThing. I am in a 100+ book challenge, and I need to know the exact numbers. It gets kind of annoying keeping track of the books that I read and all of their isbn's, but I'm trying my hardest to keep up with my sites.
I also have a yahoo, myspace, myyearbook, facebook, google, this blog, vampirefreaks, and others that I am active on! So, yikes. I know. Kinda shows how much I am on the internet... I guess writing that down kinda makes it sound really bad... eep... I didn't really realize that I was on THAT much... So, that's why I'm having trouble getting my book numbers in...

"The Twilight series is the greatest. From the spot that I am at, I think it is quite obvious that they are going to change Bella. But, I'm not sure about her "baby." It seems quite strange. But, I am only on page 230 so, please don't spoil anything for me. Hehe, who's going to spoil it anyways? I don't think I showed anyone this blog beside signing up for like 2 challenges with it. Oh, well.
Anyways, I love the character Edward. He is so... I don't know how to explain it. And, then, I started wondering. Why can't people in real life have attributes of the Edward kind? I'm not talking about his "condition." I know that myths like that do not exist. Well, except for in the imaginations of the lovely ones. I'm talking about how he is completely unselfish for the well-being of Bella. His connection with her... it's awesome. But, he is only a figment of our imagination. And, the people in real life supposedly don't really come into comparison... but, why can't they..."
Ah, the uh, joys of reading really idiotic old posts. I hate my old self.
